California is now the second state in the nation to prohibit the sale of flavored tobacco products, including menthol cigarettes. Starting January 1, 2021, retailers will be prohibited from selling these flavored products:
Flavored e-cigarettes or vapes, e-juice, pods, and cartridges
Flavored little cigars and cigarillos
Flavored tobacco product enhancers
The law does not apply to: the sale of flavored shisha/hookah, premium cigars over $12, and loose leaf pipe tobacco.
