CodeRED
Emergency Notification Solution
CodeRED is a high-speed notification solution that provides county officials the ability to quickly deliver messages to targeted areas or the entire county. This system will be used to send critical communications from evacuation notices to missing child alerts. Don't assume your contact information is included and be sure to update it when needed. Questions about the CodeRED system should be directed to the Sierra County Office of Emergency Services 530-289-2850 or Email.

Signing Up for Emergency Notification
Sierra County urges all individuals and businesses to sign up: CodeRED Community Notification Enrollment. Required information includes first and last name, street address (no P.O. boxes are accepted), city, state, zip code, and primary phone number; additional phone number and email address can be entered as well.  Verify that your street address is accurate on the map provided and correct it as necessary.

Data Entry Security
CodeRED gives those who want to be included an easy and secure method for inputting information. The data collected will only be used for emergency notification purposes. Individuals and businesses can also sign up by contacting the Office of Emergency Services at 530-289-2850 or Email.
