The Sierra County Board of Supervisors is seeking interested persons to serve on the following:
SIERRA COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION (1 vacancy)
The Sierra County Planning Commission serves as an advisory body to the Sierra County Board of Supervisors, performing functions as required by California planning and land use law; California Environmental Quality Act; Subdivision Act and as directed by the Board of Supervisors. The Commission members serve four year terms, at the pleasure of the Board of Supervisors and are compensated for meeting attendance and mileage.
Applications are now being accepted to fill an unscheduled vacancy on the Sierra County Planning Commission; this term will expire on December 31, 2016.
FINAL FILING DATE: Wednesday, October 30, 2013, 4:00 p.m., in the office of the County Clerk, Courthouse, Downieville, CA.
APPOINTMENTS will be Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the meeting of the Sierra County Board of Supervisors to be held in Downieville, CA.
