The Sierra County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session commencing at 9:00 a.m. on August 1, 2023. Locations available for the public to attend the teleconference meeting will be in the Board of Supervisors' Chambers, Courthouse, Downieville, CA and Nevada State Bank, 747 S. Grass Valley Rd. Winnemucca, NV 89445. This meeting will be recorded for posting on the Board of Supervisors' website at www.sierracounty.ca.gov.

This meeting will be open to in-person attendance and available to the public via teleconference.

6.A.

Resolution approving a Quitclaim Deed to Barry P. and Dianna H. Taylor and authorizing acceptance of a Right-of-Way Easement from Barry P. and Dianna H. Taylor for a portion of property identified as Sierra County Assessor’s Parcel No. 007-110-012, required for the construction of the Salmon Lake Road Bridge Replacement Project.

Discussion/action on request of support letter for the Sierra City Fire District's application to California Growth Council (CGC) for a Community Resilience Center (CRC) grant for the rehabilitation of the Sierra City Community Hall. (SUPERVISOR HEUER)

Discussion/direction regarding the Downieville Library lease agreement and request to appoint an ad hoc committee to negotiate a new lease agreement with the Sierra County Arts Council. (CHAIR DRYDEN)

Discussion/direction to begin the process for submission of an application to the Local Agency Formation Commission to initiate the proceedings on the reorganization of Sierra County Service Areas No. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. (CLERK OF THE BOARD)

CONSENT AGENDA

Items placed on the Consent Agenda are of a routine and non-controversial nature and are approved by a blanket roll call vote. At the time the Consent Agenda is considered, items may be deleted from the Consent Agenda by any Board member or Department Manager and added to the Regular Agenda directed by the Chairman.
