The Assessor is required by law to locate all taxable property in the county, identify ownership, and determine value for property tax purposes. The assessed value of all taxable property is published annually on the Secured and Unsecured Assessment Rolls and monthly on the Supplemental Assessment Roll. Assessment rolls are public information and are available for review and/or purchase by visiting or contacting our office or using our online resources here.
We can assist you in:
- Understanding your taxable value
- Applying for various exemptions (tax savings)
- Identifying an assessor parcel number (APN)
- Updating your mailing address for valuation notices and property tax bills
All questions regarding your property tax bill should be directed to the Tax Collector's Office.
The assessor also serves the county as Open Space Subvention Officer and volunteers as the Solid Waste Fee Administrator.
